Osorezan (Mt. Osore)
Buddhist monk Jikaku Daishi founded a temple on Osorezan in 862. It is considered one of the most sacred mountains in Japan along with Mt. Hiei and Mt. Koya. Osorezan Akimairi festival is held in autumn.
